What is madness actually? People tend to use the word as an insult; ‘You’re mad!’, ‘He’s mad’, but the truth is madness is the salt of life. People who are totally sane, the ones who acknowledge the limits and what is impossible don’t move the world forward (well almost). It’s the ones who are slightly mad, who know the risks but tries for the impossible who catch the world by its neck and pull it forward. Only once the madness is committed, the society incorporates it into itself and it isn’t mad anymore.

Enough with philosophic ramblings and stuff….. I’m glad to say this but a lot of people we live with, especially kids, are mad. There are two books I’ve read recently, ‘Surely You’re Joking Mr Feynman’ and ‘I Too Had A Dream’, both I feel are written by slightly mad people who were courageous enough not to be ashamed of it and made a heck out of life. There’s only one thing I can say, kudos for those mad people who move the world, I hope one day I can contribute marginally.
